In this category Anatomy & Organs, you will find an alphabetical list of important organs and anatomical bases of the human body.

Anatomy is the study of the makeup of living things, whether human, animal or plant. Medicine is based on human anatomy, the study of the structure of people’s bodies. Macroscopic anatomy investigates all that is visible to the eye.

Microscopic anatomy goes deeper into the organism, exploring cells and other structures that can only be seen with an optical instrument. Human anatomy includes all the parts of the body, from the cells to the skin and everything in between. The organs within the body are made up of tissues. Each organ has a specific function. Some organs work mutually to perform one function, making up an organ system.
